  1. How Far Is The Hotel From The Airport And From The Ferry Port?
    About 20 minutes or 8 miles (14 km) from the airport, and 25 minutes or 10 miles (16 km) from the ferry port.
  2. How Do I Get To The Hotel From The Airport And Ferry Port?
    We strongly recommend our guests pre book at least 24 hours in advance. The preferred ground operator is Torea Nui.  The cost is approximately 550 XPF (around $5.50US). The service runs from 6am to 5pm. After 5pm it costs 1100 XPF (around $11US). These are per person prices. You can also get a taxi from the airport or the ferry port and the cost is approximately $35US
  3. Does The Hotel Have A Pool And How Deep Is It?
    The hotel does have a magnificent pool that measures 1.5 meters (5 feet) in depth at it's deepest point and approximately 800 sq. ft.
  4. Does The Hotel Have Internet Access?
    Computers are available at the "Eimeo Bar". There is Wi-Fi service available for all our guests by the pool, the "Rotui" bar and grill. Also, as of July 20th 2006, we are proud to announce that WIFI service will be available in all Over Water Bungalows, internet connection in all other guest rooms is currently available by modem (56K) at a cost of 100 CPF per minute.
  5. Can I Get A Late Check Out?
    Yes, late check-outs are available at 50% of the regular rate until 6pm and at a full regular rate after 6pm.
  6. What Is The Time For Check In and Check Out?
    Check-in is available from 2pm, and check-out is at 11am.
  7. Can I Get A Bed For A Third Person In The Room?
    Yes, this service is available at CFP 10,000 plus applicable taxes (approximately $100US) for person(s) over 12 years old.
  8. Is There ATM Service Available In French Polynesia?
    ATM machines are available but sometimes malfunction with U.S. issued bank cards. Therefore, we do not recommend the ATM machines in the islands. If you carry an international bank card, they are more reliable.
  9. How Do I Get To Moorea From Tahiti?
    It takes 10 minutes by airplane with Air Moorea. It takes about 30 minutes by Catamaran. The airfare is around $40US one way, and around $10US for the ferry. The airplane runs from 6am to 6pm and there are night flights during the weekends from 6pm to 10pm.
  10. Can I Get From Moorea To Bora Bora?
    Yes, there are limited flights available with Air Tahiti. It takes 45 minutes and it costs approximately $300 round trip, returning to either Moorea and/or Papette. There are no boats from Moorea to Bora Bora.
  11. Do You Have A Spa Available At The Hotel?
    Yes, the Sheraton Moorea Lagoon Resort & Spa offers Polynesian treatments at the Mandara Spa. The Mandara Spa is open from 8am to 8pm daily. 
  12. Which Restaurants Are Available For Dining?
    The "Arii Vahine" restaurant, a lagoon side restaurant with panoramic ocean views. It serves traditional Polynesian and international cuisine.
    The "Rotui" Bar & Grill, a pool & beach bar, is ideal for light meals and cocktails.
    The "Toatea" Over Water bar is ideal for breakfast and a sunset cocktail.
  13. Do You Have Any Handicap Rooms In The Hotel?
    Yes, there are 4 handicap access rooms; 2 Over Water bungalows and 2 Garden bungalows.
  14. Do You Offer A Polynesian Show?
    Yes, every Tuesday and Saturday we offer a themed buffet dinner with a complimentary Polynesian show where natives perform music and dance.
  15. Which Activities Do You Offer In The Hotel?
    We offer many complimentary activities such as kayaking, snorkeling (mask and flippers in your bungalow), sailing in an outrigger canoe and many more.
  16. What Other Activities Are There In Moorea?
    There are other activities available for the hotel guests such as diving or escorted jet ski. Scuba diving in Moorea is considered one of the best diving experiences in the world.
  17. What Is The Voltage?
    All the rooms are equipped with 2 outlets. 110 or 220 volts are available.
  18. Which TV Channels Are Available In The Rooms?
    CNN and Turner Classic Movies are available 24 hours a day. There are also 6 French TV channels available through cable. Recently, we have added DVD players in all rooms, and a rental DVD library will be available for our guests beginning June 1st 2006.
  19. Is There a CD Player in the Bungalow? Yes, there are CD players and DVD players in all rooms.  CDs may also be purchased in case you forgot your own as well a complete selection of DVD's available at the Front Desk.
  20. Can I Send or Purchase an Amenity for a Guest Staying at the Resort? Yes, please contact info.moorea@sheraton.pf for details and pricing. Also, special events and private dinners can be arranged by contacting the above email address.
  21. Do You Offer Wedding Ceremonies at Your Resort? Yes, There are wedding ceremonies available. The basic package is 149,000 XPF ($1500US) including the ceremony, beautiful flowers, traditional Polynesian musicians and the bouquet. Other packages with additional offerings are available. Ceremonies are not legally binding due to French law on the islands.
  22. What Are Some Recommended Items to Pack That I May Forget? An underwater camera, a cap or wide-brimmed hat, sunscreen, water shoes, your favorite CDs, your favorite DVDs and light, loose-fitting, cotton clothes.
